Privacy notice
We collect only what we need to look after your stay, and we keep it safe, as the Protection of Personal Information Act requires.
The responsible party is Milhon Saldanha CC (registration number 2004/066503/23), trading as Edward on Eden, Claremont, Cape Town. Our Information Officer is Jill van Wyk, jillvanwyk@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your ID or passport details, for guest registration and the security of the house.
- Your booking and payment records, and the messages we exchange with you.
Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure page. We never see or store your card number.
Why we use it
- To manage your booking and stay, and to contact you about it.
- To keep the house and our guests secure.
- To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
We don't send marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
- Our booking system, Hospitable, which is based in the United States and stores booking details on our behalf.
- Our payment provider, to process your payment.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
How long we keep it
ID copies are deleted after your stay unless they are needed to resolve a dispute. Booking and payment records are kept for five years, as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact our Information Officer at jillvanwyk@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The booking calendar on each room's page is provided by Hospitable, which may use cookies needed to run it.
